Georgraphic Distribution

Arid climate is a sub climate of the major ‘dry’ climate, along with semiarid. Arid climate is based all over the world. It is mostly in the desert areas of Australia, Africa, most of Europe, and a little of North America. Most of the arid climate is centered along 20 degrees latitude, closer to the equator with the exception of Australia and some parts of South America. Arid means a really dry climate, basically in the deserts. The Sahara desert is among one of the most arid climates in the world. It is also the biggest desert in the world, also making it really dry. It is located around the equator, where it is really hot. Most dry climates are really close to the equator and also among the driest.
