In the Arid climate its gets less than 10 inches of rain a year that is bad for all the vegetation there. In the Tropics it is mostly sunny and hot. In the middle latitudes it is hot with high temperatures. The low latitude deserts are hot in the day with temperatures between 110°-115°F. In the night the temperatures are between 60°-65°F which is cool for a desert. In the winter temperatures are 80°F and at night it is 45°F. The dry areas in this climate are caused by the subtropical high-pressure zone. Plants are small and open up after the rain barely falls here.
